Fleeing Suspect

According to Fort Worth police spokesman Officer Brad Perez, the 21-year-old suspect, Christopher Anderson, was held Monday on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, evading arrest, and the unlawful possession of a firearm. Anderson was arrested shortly after the wreck that left two Fort Worth police officers hospitalized.

According to Perez, both officers are awake and aware of their surroundings. As of Monday, one was discharged and the other remains hospitalized. Details on both were not released, though.

Anderson was arrested after a short foot chase following an extended car chase with local police. There were no details on bond or a lawyer for Anderson at the time.
