With mass transportation becoming more and more popular in the major cities, you hear more often about train and metro accidents. The mix of cars and trains in an urban environment can often be a recipe for disaster. It is crucial that cities put the right precautionary equipment in place before building a city-wide metro system. This includes lights, warning sounds, and barriers. Despite these precautions, it is still common for drivers to try and outrun a train. You should never attempt to cross any train track when it isn’t safe to do so.
